“high school career in Silicon Valley”

I began my high school career in Silicon Valley, USA, at the age of 14. Throughout my high school career, I have developed a passion in English and have been constantly trying to improve myself with my consistent effort. I was told by my English teacher to be totally “indistinguishable” from local students because of my American accent, and I am especially proud of it. I am fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and have been learning Spanish for 3 years. In addition to that, I also know phonics and pinyin. I have scored a 106120 on the standardized TOEFL Exam, and have been admitted by world known Universities like University of California, Davis, California polytechnic University, Boston University pending, University of Washington... majoring in Biology. In my Junior and Senior year combined, I have also managed to get only 4 B's and the rest A's 24 A's in all of my classes. I believe the passion, assets, and skills I acquired can assist me to become a creative and fun, yet innovative, inspiring, and responsible teacher to all students.
